Harry Potter squee of doom

Oh peeps, I've had such a busy last couple of days. And I've still got so much studying to do - until December 15th, as it turns out because that's apparently when my last exam will be held -.-. I can't find aaaany motivation to study, damn it ... Especially if there's so much more interesting stuff going on - like the new Harry Potter movie ... which brings me to my next point: *squeee*
Oh my god, I think the Deathly Hallows movie will definitely go into my top 3 Harry Potter movies - not as good as the Philosopher's stone but infinitely better than the Goblet of Fire. I love so much about it - the emotions, the angst, the suspense, the scary parts ^_^ not to forget the gold that is the friendship of Ron, Harry and Hermione! I love that they didn't focus on Ron and Hermione's growing relationship overly much and instead made a real effort to show the love between the three of them. That's the reason why when they finally did put in the romance I could actually enjoy it - and I really did!
I also really adored the dance scene with Harry and Hermione - not in a shippy way. It felt so touching to me that Harry would offer to dance with Hermione just to cheer her up - and we all do remember that he absolutely hates dancing from the Goblet of Fire!
My favourite moment of the movie, however, was when Dobby appeared in Malfoy Manor to save them - I've got so much love for him! They did make him out to be so funny and adorable in this movie, like they were trying to make up for all the time they'd left him out in the previous films. I think I will now have to make Dobby my favourite character - because he's awesome! (which is why I felt like crap when he died)
Of course there was also a lot of stuff that I didn't like that much - like for example the whole affair in the Ministry and that the Death Eaters didn't recognise the real Harry because he didn't want to use the Unforgivables, but because Hedwig sacrificed herself for him. I mean, I get it, they were trying to give Hedwig a more heroic way to die, but ... to me it seems like they've taken a large chunk out of what Harry essentially is: his heroism and his reluctance to hurt others, even if they are on the other side - and this is reflected best in these two sequences, when he at one time rescues all of the Muggle born witches and wizards in the Ministry and then tries to spare Stan Shunpike by only using the paralysing spell. I think it's kind of wrong to change and reduce these scenes in the way they did in the movie ... but at the same time, I'm not all that angry about it, because I kind of view the book and the film separately ... and you can't have everything in any case.
But, to cut a long story short, I really did like it a lot on the whole and I recommend you watch it, if you haven't seen it already (which must be nobody by now :)!).
